What a beautiful day at the Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West for Derek and Stacy’s wedding day. Jut over a year ago, Stacy attended a charity event and met the singer, who turned out to be her future husband, Derek, as he was singing ‘Unanswered Prayers’ by Dylan Miller. Can it get any more serendipitous!? The two were perfect for each other from the start. Things were going great, and then their relationship took a big challenge, Derek was in a car accident. He has since recovered, but he called Stacy his ‘Angel’ through his recovery.
As Derek recovered, he knew he wanted to propose to Stacy. On a special night in February at midnight he played their song, ‘Wagon Wheel’ by Darius Rucker and asked her to be his wife. (Yes, I am playing this song right now as I write this because they picked a great song to become engaged too!)
Their wedding day was held at the Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West, in July, just over a year after they met. Stacy looked beautiful in her dress and high heels. As their friends and family gathered for their ceremony, you could tell the day was going to be great by the conversation and laughter coming their guests, in all corners of the hotel. The Europa room was a great ceremony location followed by their reception. Music was so important to them and they couldn’t have picked a better first dance song for them: ‘God Gave Me You’ by Blake Shelton. The rest of the night was their guests saying Stacy and Derek are so humble and kind (another song J ). These two have such big hearts. Enjoy their wedding photography story at the Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West.
