Looking for a restaurant venue to host your rehearsal dinner or wedding reception, or to cater out to another venue? Buck & Honey’s, which earned a spot as a finalist in Wisconsin Bride 2023 and a Best of Madison Gold in 2025 for restaurants and catering, might not be able to host your ceremony, but it is certainly a fantastic option for good food and a rustic yet put-together environment.
This restaurant has 4 locations to choose from, depending on your preference, and each has 2 rentable rooms. Booking with Buck & Honey’s allows you to have full-service catering either on or off-site (if you would rather have their food at a different location). While the pricing is not public on their page, it can be requested. This location is ideal for medium to small weddings.

Having a huge wedding guest list and not sure how to fit everyone at one venue? The Atwood Music Hall is probably the best location for large weddings, with its max capacity holding up to 700 people at a standing reception. However, this doesn’t exclude small weddings. The space can still hold more intimate parties, leaving plenty of room for a dance floor. Again, pricing is not listed on their page publicly, but can be requested.
This venue is generally great for any style of wedding. The expansive room allows for personalized decor and dedicated spots for the ceremony and reception. Overall, the most noticeable features of the venue’s architecture are the stage, which can be used for wedding rentals, and the unique ceiling pattern, which adds to the attraction of the venue. These little details don’t overpower the large space and confine it to a single aesthetic for weddings. Rather, they are simply contributing details that can be dressed up or dressed down accordingly for your big day.

Looking for a location that has vintage/retro vibes yet feels exclusive and chic? The Madison Club is a very aesthetically driven location, and to quote the Club itself, “boasts multiple floors of event spaces, each with their own distinct personality and character- from enchanting elegance to modern sophistication.” The location is certainly one-of-a-kind, and it can utilize its multiple aesthetics to draw in couples with different tastes.
The Madison Club is a private club, and so the prices represent that, with a minimum floor rental coming in at $10,000 and the maximum, 3-floor rental coming in at $40,000. On top of this, there are other fees for additional rooms, changing spaces, meal prices per person, and more. While renting a single floor is comparable to other locations discussed on this list, the extra add-ons should be considered before settling, as they can quickly increase the total.
This venue is certainly worth the price, however. It’s three-course meal service, butler-served hors de ‘oeurves, and ample drink menu only hint at the quality found within. And, if you are on a tighter budget, this venue isn’t out of the question entirely. They also offer an Intimate Wedding Guide, recommended for 70 people or fewer. This smaller package is just as all-inclusive as the larger, and you can still enjoy the Club’s unique architecture and interior design, as well as its delicious catering. To see pricing for both wedding packages, see the wedding guides listed below.

The Madison Library is a modern building with lots of natural light pouring in through the many large windows lining the outer walls, making it a fantastic location for bright, crisp wedding-day photos. Pricing is average, coming in at $5,250 for a full day rental including the ceremony and the reception, $4,150 for just a reception at the library, or $1,650 for just a ceremony. Some included amenities are set-up and take-down help, on-site event staff, 2 hours of rehearsal time, and getting-ready rooms. Overall, this location is ideal for medium to small weddings with a max capacity of 170 people.
