Downtown Madison Engagement Photos

Jamie and Eric’s Madison engagement session began at the Wisconsin State Capitol, one of Madison’s iconic landmarks. The grand architecture and timeless style made it the perfect spot for elegant portraits.

Afterward, we strolled to the Overture Center for the Arts. Its clean lines and circle window provided a fun contrast to the Capitol’s formality.

Next, we went to UW Memorial Union, my favorite lakeside spot on Lake Mendota. The light was perfect, and the lakeshore added a beautiful blend of scenery and sentiment.

The Office-Inspired Laughter

Jamie and Eric love The Office. We decided to try a themed photo, but let’s just say it got extra silly. 😂 Sometimes, the best memories aren’t Pinterest-perfect. These two embraced every goofy moment.

Their relaxed energy was contagious, and they spent the whole session laughing together. That joy and connection really shines in the photos.

Looking Ahead to Their Spring Wedding

How did Eric propose? In March, he wrote “May I March you down the aisle?” on their whiteboard (a tradition they keep alive with monthly puns). Jamie said yes, of course!

They’ll be tying the knot next spring at Chorus Public House in Stoughton, Wisconsin. I know it’s going to be a day full of love, laughter, and some seriously fun dance moves. I’m honored to capture it all.
