Carly and Max’s July 15th, 2025 engagement session in Madison, Wisconsin perfectly reflected their love story and the city that means so much to them. From the Wisconsin State Capitol to the UW–Madison campus and Memorial Union Terrace overlooking Lake Mendota, every location told a part of their journey together. How They Met

These two first crossed paths at Everly on Monroe Street back in October 2022. Over dinner, they quickly discovered they shared more than a few favorite things—including a love of exploring Madison, cheering for Badger volleyball games, and spending time outside.

The Proposal

Two years later, in October of 2024, Max planned the perfect surprise. Under a breathtaking fall display of the Northern Lights, he asked Carly to marry him. The magical moment couldn’t have been more fitting for their adventurous spirits and deep connection.

The UW–Madison campus, a place close to both of their hearts as alumni. From strolling past familiar landmarks to cozy moments at the Memorial Union Terrace, the photos captured not just their love for each other but also their love for the university that shaped their story.

The session ended along the shores of Lake Mendota, with golden light dancing on the water. Watching Carly and Max laugh, cuddle, and dream about their future was a photographer’s dream.

Carly and Max are set to tie the knot on July 31st, 2026 at Windsor Golf Course in Windsor, Wisconsin. With their shared love of golf, the venue couldn’t be a more perfect fit. Surrounded by family, friends, and a little bit of Madison magic, their wedding is sure to be unforgettable.
